Growing up in Hong Kong, stationery was always something I was drawn to as a kid. So much so, that I would collect hundreds of writing sets and beautifully designed notepads to exchange with friends.

By the age of 10, I was taught to write both Chinese calligraphy & English cursive at school. I remember the day I was awarded my 'pen license' in year 6 (now living in Australia), as being one of my happiest moments.

20 years later, now a mum and Graphic Designer, I realised that these skills & passion were still ingrained in me, as I once again signed up for a calligraphy class at my local scrapbooking store. It all flooded back!

Around the same time, I discovered the world of letterpress & immersed myself in perfecting this fascinating process.

Seeing the inked lead type pressed into fluffy cotton paper, in real life, was an epiphany for me. I just knew I had to entwine all of my creative loves together.

Thus, INKSY was born.
